Two parallel journeys made at different times, two ways of capturing the urban environment, either onto film or onto paper: photographs by E.De Martino, sketches by H.Salmi. Inspired by I.Calvino's "The Invisible Cities", places are shown according to elements/qualities shared regardless of their specific location. Sometimes a photo would depict the same view of a sketch, but surprisingly not representing the same site. Visitors are invited to create their own virtual journey, through the alleys of an imaginary city: observing from different distances, detecting contrasts and similarities, establishing multiple connections through recognition and associations of ideas.
